    West Bengal Minorities’ Development & Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) invites the online application for Post Matric Scholarship for Fresh and Renewal both for the academic session 2016-17 from the students domicile of West Bengal. Offline application for the scholarship are not accepted by the department. So be careful to apply only Online. Post Matric Scholarship is available for the meritorious students and who are belonging to Minority communities, ie. Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsees and Jain. Other details like eligibility, last date and application process is furnished below.

    Last Date for 11th and 12th : September 30, 2016
    Last Date of Submission of online application for Higher education : 31 October, 2016

    Eligibility Criteria :

    =(@).The student must be a citizen of India and domicile of West Bengal to be eligible for Post Matric Scholarship.

    =(@). Students pursuing Higher Secondary, ITI, Diploma, Graduation, Post Graduation, M.Phil., B.Ed etc. courses from Govt. or private institution having UDISE/HIAS code are eligible.

    =(@). In order to apply for Post matric scholarship, the students must have Aadhar number or have registered themselves for an Aadhaar Card number.

    =(@). The scholarships are meant for minority communities students, such as Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsees and Jain.

    =(@).The students who have obtained at least 50% marks in the previous final examination are eligible for the PMS.

    =(@). The students family annual income should not be more than Rs. Two Lac (2,00,000/-) from all sources.

    =(@). The applicant who are in receipt of scholarship benefit last year and having a permanent ID must be entitle for Renewal of Scholarship.

    How to Apply :

    @#..} The candidates who fulfill all the eligibility conditions are eligible for post matric scholarship and can apply online at scholarships.gov.in.

    @#..} The offline applications will not be entertained for the post matric scholarship.

    @#..} For Direct Benefit Transfer DBT, the bank accounts of the scholarship holders should be seeded with Aadhaar number.

    @#..} Along with the print out of online application form, the students need to submit all the relevant documents to their respective institution.

    @#..} The scanned documents should needed to be uploaded in the website.

    Required documents :

    ** Photocopy of Aadhaar Card

    ** Photo copy of first page of Bank pass book with IFSC

    ** Annual Family income certificate issued by Pradhan/Councillor/MLA/ Gazetted officer etc.
