West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation (WBMD&FC), Government of west Bengal sponsored Stipend scholarship under the Talent Support Programme (TSP) is launched to encourage the Minority community students who are scoring less than 50 per cent marks in last board or academic examination in order to continue their studies. The applicants are invited to submit their applications in online mode for State Govt. sponsored stipend under TSP. Eligibility Criteria : ó Post Matric Stipend for Minority students under TSP of Government of West Bengal is open for the students who are belonging to minority communities, such as -Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi & Jain. ó The above stipend under the Talent Support Programme is to be awarded to the above minority students to enable them to study from class XI upto PhD. ó To avail this stipend, the candidates must be a residents of West Bengal and should have cleared their last final examination with less than 50% Marks in the last Board / University Examination ó The candidates whose parents family income is not more than Rs. Two Lacs (2,00,000/-) are eligible to apply for this stipend. ó The stipend is awarded one time in a year. ó The online application form will be available from tsp.wbmdfc.co.in. ó The students who are pursuing regular courses of study only are eligible for this scholarship ó The students of Distance Learning Mode are not entitled to apply for this scholarship. ó Only two students from a family can apply for this scholarship. ó The students obtaining benefit under this scheme shall not be allowed to avail any other benefits under any other scholarship scheme . ó To be eligible, the students should have Bank Account in a Nationalised or Scheduled Bank with having IFSC. The scholarship amount will be disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer mode only. Application Process : =>] To apply for Post Matric scholarship under the Talent Support Programme (TSP), the students can apply through online mode at tsp.wbmdfc.co.in. =>] The online filled in application form should be downloaded by the students. =>] Take a print out of filled in application form. =>] The same application form should be submitted to the students institution with Annual Income certificate, First page of Bank passbook showing the name, account number, IFSC. =>] The income certificate should be issued by the Pradhan or Ward Councilor / Gazette Officer/ MIA or MP. Date Schedule : Opening Date of Online application for Talent Support Programme :01.12.2016 Closing Date of Online application for Talent Support Programme :31.01.2016 Steps to Submit Online Application: ** First of all, student have to go with the option Student Registration, on the home page of Talent Support Scholarship Portal. ** Fill up the application as per the prescribed instructions and create username and password then click on save/submit button. ** After that with the created username and password students have to again login using student login Once registration is completed on click of submit button, a Permanent Registration ID is generated which can be used for Renewal and tracking the status of application .
