    Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal is giving the Post Matric Application for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The registration for Fresh and Renewal of Post Matric Scholarship (Class 11, 12 and College) for the academic session 2015-16. The desirous and eligible candidates of ST/SC/OBC category can apply online by the website of Backward Classes Welfare Department, Govt. of West Bengal, ie. Oasis.gov.in.
    Through this Post Matric Scholarship program, the student will be provided with financial assistance to the SC, ST and OBC students who are studying in Post matriculation/ post secondary stages to allow them to complete their higher education. The annual ceiling of student’s parents/guardian income is Rs. Two lacs Fifty thousand.

    How to Track Scholarship Application Status in West Bengal:

    1. Go to the website oasis.gov.in

    2. The students first select the District where his/her institution is located.

    3. Then the student should enter Application Serial No. /User ID

    4. Afterwards enter the Applied District

    5. Enter Session

    6. And at last the student have to click on Check Status box

    7. You will get the status of your application which you submitted.

    My Reg no- WB04021298751. I was submit my all document in our block(jaldaII,purulia) but when i check my application status .its show hard copy not received. now how to get my scholarship.please take an action against officer those who are not properly done their job. thank you
