    The applications are invited for Scholarships for Foreign Nationals for the academic session 2017-18 from Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). The interested candidates who fulfil all the eligibility conditions can apply for Scholarships for Foreign Nationals. The application process with their required documents are detailed below.


    How to Apply :

    =<@>. The desirous candidates for Scholarships for Foreign Nationals can submit the six (6) copies of application.

    =<@>. All the sets of applications should be duly filled in and all must be properly tagged before going to submit.

    =<@>. Each copy of the application form should be complete in all manner along with all the supportive documents and necessary information.

    =<@>. The application should be in the prescribed format and all the columns of the applications form should be typewritten or handwritten in Capital letters. But the signature in all copies should be original.

    =<@>. Along with the application form, some documents are also required to submit in order to complete the application process.


    Required Documents :


    The list of necessary documents are here under.

    (<>) A recent passport size photograph (taken not earlier than a year before the date of the application) should be pasted on the application form in the space provided for the purpose. It is compulsory to write the name on the photograph for identification purpose.

    (<>) Apart from these six photographs which are to be pasted on the applications, one additional photograph, not pasted to any form, must be submitted.

    (<>) The applicants must submit the certified copy of the syllabi, curricula, etc. of courses covered in schools, colleges, universities attended (except the Senior Cambridge, High Cambridge and London General Certificate of Education examination) with full details.

    (<>) Submit the certified photo copies of all academic qualifications certificates and mark sheets, including those relating to school leaving examination, which are mandatory for the course for which you have applied.

    (<>) It is also compulsory to attach the certified copies of documents showing specific qualifications required for the course of your choice (like MAT scores for admission in MBA/TOEFL/IELTS scores for English courses etc.)

    (<>) A certificate of physical fitness in the prescribed form is also needed.
    (<>) Recommendations / character certificates
    (<>) The applicants also required to submit the certified copies of relevant pages of candidate’s valid passport showing photograph, name, contact details, date of issue, date of expiry and place of issue.


    Other Terms and conditions :

    {#} There is no guarantee of admission in the candidate’s choice of University / Institution.

    {#} In case of non-availability of a particular course in a particular Institution, or in case none of three universities of student choice confirm admission, the Council will forward the application to other Universities/Institutions where such courses are available so that as many students as possible get admissions in Indian Universities.

    {#} The Council would try to accommodate the candidates as per their choice of course/institute. However, while the candidate may decide whether or not to accept such an offer, it may be noted that once accepted, no change in either course or University will be permitted.

    {#} The candidates can go through the Universities Handbook of India available with the Indian Diplomatic Mission of their country OR they can visit to the UGC web portal, ie ugc.ac.in.

    {#} The ICCR provides the scholarships only for courses in Central or State Govt. universities as listed by UGC.
